The word Reiki is composed of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom" or the "Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy" or more commonly known as Universal Life Force Energy.
Based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive, Reiki therapy connects you with your body to release emotional energy, allowing you to feel relaxed, rejuvenated and revitalized.
Reiki treats the whole person, creating feelings of peace, security and well-being. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Shamanic healing was once practiced by our ancestors on all inhabited continents. Shamanic healing works on the spiritual side of problems and illness. Shamanic healing seeks to recover a person’s lost power, to restore their vital soul, and remove harmful energies or spiritual blockages. Sometimes shamanic divination is also needed to solve problems and bring healing in the form of much-needed answers to life problems.
Shaman means “Spiritual Healer” or “one who sees in the dark.” Shamans access the spirit realm for guidance in the pursuit of healing — they heal by restoring and removing energetic pathways, recovering soul parts, and communicating with non-physical helpers to discover the spiritual aspects of illness and find answers to life’s seemingly impossible questions. A shamanic healing is very powerful and will leave you feeling grounded in who you are.
Shamanism, combined with Reiki healing, includes the use of shamanic tools: healing stones, sound therapy, breath work, smoke and incense, feathers, shells, water and fire. Guidance from spirit guides and ancestors are often experienced during the session. Any intuitive messages from spirit and/or visions seen will be shared with the client.

There are 7 main energy centers in the body, known as chakras. Each chakra represents both physical and emotional aspects of our being. If a chakra is out of balance, then we start to feel out of sorts in both our body and mind. Chakra balancing is the process of restoring a harmonious flow of energy, and when they are well-balanced it often translates into a feeling of well-being, relaxation, increased vitality, and a greater embodiment of oneself.
Root Chakra: Located at the base of the spine and is all about being grounded/connected to the universe.
Sacral Chakra: Located just below the belly button and is related to sexuality, pleasure and emotions.
Solar Plexus Chakra: Located above the naval and is related to personal power, fears, and anxiety.
Heart Chakra: Located in the chest and relates to love and compassion.
Throat Chakra: Located in the throat and is about communication.
Third Eye Chakra: Located between the eyebrows and relates to intuition.
Crown Chakra: Located in the crown of the head and is about a connection to the spiritual.
Shamanic Journeying is a meditation-like experience used as a tool to obtain spiritual growth, healing, guidance. Journeyers are able to use their inner spirit/higher self to seek out and communicate with guardian spirits and spirits of the land. Individuals can also use journeying to work through psychological/ emotional issues, examine the health of their body or another’s body and discover things about the physical world. They may confront a deceased or living relative about past abuse. The journey provides a safe environment to work through emotional trauma and grief.
The shamanic journey occurs by shifting awareness or consciousness with the use of a drum or rattle. The slow repetitive rhythm shifts the individuals “rhythm” just the way a soothing song can help someone achieve a calmer state. The drum beat used is very close to the frequency that is measured from the earth. The effectiveness of the journey is ultimately achieved by a journeyer's intent.
Meditation can remove stress and replace it with a dose of inner peace. It’s one of the best tools we have to balance our emotions, deal with physical and psychological distress, and promote the peace of the present moment. But it can be tough to meditate without a teacher or guide. Therefore, guided meditation is often beneficial to many. Meditating on your own requires some effort, while guided meditations literally walk you through a meditation and help you find a calm and peaceful state—one step at a time. Whether you’re looking for an introduction to meditation or already have some experience meditating, you can truly benefit from guided meditations using specified themes:
Shamanic extraction is the removal of displaced energy, sometimes called intrusions. This is energy that does not belong in the body and may cause illness. For example, emotional stress can effect health as it takes the form of energy that is stored throughout the body. This eventually leads to illness and causes backaches and ulcers.
There are types of misplaced energy that are often seen as prime cases where shamanic extraction is needed. It could be the energy left behind from an injury like a sprained ankle or an organ transplants. Shamanically everything has a soul, so the heart transplanted from another may still contain energy from the organ donor. This energy may or may not be compatible with the heart transplant recipient. Misplaced energy is not good or bad, it simply does not belong there. Because it does not belong there it causes illness or weakness in the body. In the shamanic mind there is no distinction made based on where the energy came from; energy that does not belong there is found and removed.
