The shamanic journey is one of the most remarkable visionary methods used to explore the hidden universe. Using the beat of the drum, we enter an altered state of consciousness to gain access to non-ordinary reality to receive direct spiritual guidance and assistance.  In the journey it is possible to meet one's power animals and spirit guides and receive healing and messages which can help us in our daily lives. 


Journeying is a core shamanic skill that will empower you on your path of discovery.

No prior experience with shamanism is required.


What to Bring 

  • a personal eye covering; 
  • a blanket, drum and/or rattle if you wish, for a short period of group drumming.
  • a notebook or paper for recording your journey.
  • your favorite meditation stones or crystals, if any.


What to Wear 

  • comfortable clothing to sit on a floor chair 
  • easily removable shoes (prepare to remove your footwear a the door)

Meeting Schedule:

Every Tuesday


New to Journeying: 

Arrive at 6:30 for intro to journeying


Experienced Journeyers: 

Arrive by 6:45. 


There will be no entry access after 6:45.


Limit of Participants:

Maximum 15 (in person) Unlimited online

Guided Meditation

Guided meditation is a process by which participants meditate in response to the verbal instruction provided by a guide either in person or via sound recording combined with meditation music or instrumental sounds. 


Guided meditation as an aggregate or synthesis of techniques has been shown to be effective in precipitating therapeutic, rehabilitative, and educational benefits when employed as an adjunct to primary clinical and instructional strategies, including as a means to:

  • lower levels of stress,
  • minimize the frequency, duration, and intensity of asthmatic episodes,
  • reduces physical and emotional pain,
  • help overcome powerful addictions,
  • develop coping skills,
  • improve focus and ability to carry out demanding tasks in exacting situations,
  • decrease the incidence of insomnia,
  • abate feelings of anger,
  • improves cardiovascular health and enhances the immune system,
  • reduce occurrences of negative or irrational thinking,
  • assuage anxiety,
  • raise levels of optimism,
  • increase the sense of connectedness and empathy,
  • enhance physical and mental aptitude,
  • increase general feeling of well-being and self-reported quality of life,
  • improves memory and the abiilty to make decisions

Meeting Times

Meeting Schedule:

Every 2nd and 4th Thursday 


Session 1:  6:30 pm

There will be no entry access after 6:45 pm.


Session 2:  8:00 pm

There will be no entry access after 8:15 pm.


Participant Limit: 15


What to bring:

-  A personal blindfold if desired

-  Wear comfortable clothing

-  A journal to write your experiences (if desired)

-  Your favorite gemstone or crystal (if desired for meditation)
